Imperial Land Corporation (ILC) is a privately held company, established in 1973 with its principal business being real estate development. At present, ILC owns over 5,000 acres of land in Allegheny and Washington Counties situated in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Properties are available for sale in various sizes and can accommodate developments both large and small.
Nearly 3,000 acres are located in the Townships of Findlay & North Fayette, Allegheny County. The ILC holdings are conveniently situated within minutes of the Pittsburgh International Airport. The property is bisected by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commissions PA 576 Highway, also known as the “Findlay Connector”, connecting Interstate 376 and Pittsburgh International Airport with State Route 22.
At the Westport Interchange, ILC is developing the Findlay Industrial Park, home to over 1.5 million square feet of development. Room for growth in the Findlay Industrial Park can include up to 350,000 SF. In addition, the Westport Woods development is home to major retail distributors, like Amazon, and is ready to accommodate additional users with office or flex space.
ILC also owns approximately 2,000 acres in Robinson Township, Washington County, also known as the Fort Cherry Development District. This property is currently accessible via State Route 980 and future access will be enhanced with the completion of the next section of the “Southern Beltway”, or PA 576, connecting the Findlay Connector to Interstate 79. Direct interchange access to much of ILC’s Washington County holdings will be provided by this Beltway extension. Construction of this project has started at the Route 22 interchange and plans to open to traffic in the fall of 2021. Follow the progress on the Turnpike’s website.
