Findlay Industrial Park
The Findlay Industrial Park (FIP) is a 400 acre development located at the Westport Interchange of PA Route 576, also known as the “Findlay Connector”. Findlay Industrial Park is now home to Appliance Dealers Cooperative, Okonite, Alro Steel, Ashley Capital, The Buncher Company, Gordon Food Service and Niagara Bottling. The park has over 1.6 million square foot under roof currently.
Findlay Industrial Park was started in 2006, Phase 2 of the park was completed in the fall of 2012 and Phase 3 was completed in 2015. Findlay Industrial Park Phase 4 will start construction January of 2019 with an anticipated opening in the fall of 2019. Phase 4 and the remaining lots can accommodate users from 25,000 to 500,000 square feet.
PA 576 was completed in the fall of 2006 and consists of 6.5 miles of tolled highway connecting the Pittsburgh International Airport and Interstate 376 with State Route 22/30. The Findlay Industrial Park is approximately 3 miles from the Pittsburgh International Airport and the Interstate 376 corridor. The development will make immediate use of the Southern Beltway Route 576 “22 to 79 project” also sometimes referred to the “Energy Corridor” as it will connect Southpointe at Interstate 79 with the already completed section of Route 576. The anticipated opening of the highway is scheduled for fall of 2020.
